WotLK Classic: Which values do tanks, casters, melee have to achieve?

Just like in World of Warcraft and TBC Classic, tanks, casters, and offensive melee combatants in Wrath of the Lich King Classic should hit specific stat caps in order to best perform their duties. We'll tell you how many hit levels, weapon knowledge and skills you need in WotLK Classic.
 
Once the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic pre-release phase begins, there will be a large number of changes on the Classic server. Some of these adjustments will affect your character's stats. Melee hit stats and spell hit stats become hit stats, etc. There is no healing or spell damage, only spell power, which increases healing and spell damage equally.
 
Also important: when you go from level 70 to level 80 in Northrend, the value counter also changes, by which you have to increase the value by 1%. For example, if a 28-point blast rate at level 34 increases the blast rate by 4%, a 28-point blast rate at level 70 only increases the blast rate by 1.27%, while at level 80 it only has a 0.61 hit chance points for the blast rate is present. However, if you get a fixed 2% explosion rate from somewhere, e.g. B. through a talent or an augmentation, then the bonus is fixed at 2% more probability of explosion, regardless of whether you are level 34, 70 or 80.

The main limitation for tanks in WotLK Classic
Warrior tanks in World of Warcraft: WotLK Classic not only need thick shields, but also immunity to hits.  
WoW: Warrior tanks with cheap WotLK Classic gold not only need thick shields, but also immunity to explosions.

When it comes to tank attribute priorities, there are two main areas that matter: 1) survivability through thrash and punch immunity, and 2) hatred accumulation (usually impacted by hit rate and experience).
 
Raid leader thrash immunity with a level 80 tank: 540 defense (you need 140 defense or 689+ defense stat from gear)
In the Heroic Dungeons of TBC, it takes 535 Defense to become Immune to Beating against bosses.
Level 80 tank blast immunity against raid leaders from resilience: 5.6% resilience or 460 resilience level
Note: Of course, resilience and defense can also be combined to achieve immunity to slams.
 
What happens when immunity is too low?
In Burning crusade, some team leaders who are 3 levels above character level can deliver devastating punches to the face (150% more damage). With the change in WotLK. Crushing Blow only occurs when your opponent is at least 4 levels higher than you, or when you haven't fully learned your defensive skills.
