But beyond all these arguments, another undeniable and decisive factor that will make Wrath of the Lich King Classic probably the best Classic experience ever applies to me in particular, but certainly also to one or the other of you. In addition to the good memories, there is also a lot of experience. Experience that will make our lives extremely easier.
For me, WotLK was the expansion where I played World of Warcraft the most. I've never had so many characters at max level, never been so successful in both PvE and PvP. On the one hand, this is due to the good quality of the content, but also to personal circumstances and the time that was there for gambling. Although this time has now been put into perspective, as is probably the case with most WoW veterans who have already played the original intensively, in WotLK Classic we can draw on the experiences we have from November 2008 (yes, that's really that long already ago) have collected.
Wrath of the Lich King Classic will feel like returning to an environment you already know very well and have fond memories of. Many things will work intuitively and give us a head start over those who may be exploring Northrend and its mysteries for the first time.
Conclusion
I'm looking forward to going back to Northrend for the first time, looting the first new resources, seeing the first dungeons again and starting the endgame at level 80 after finding the way. I'm looking forward to my death knight, the new profession of inscription, which brings the successful glyph system with it, and finally, of course, to the Icecrown Citadel and the Dalaran Arena. I'm even looking forward to the Argent Tournament daily quests. That I would say that...
All this is not new. I already know it inside and out. But that's exactly why I'm looking forward to being able to experience the status of World of Warcraft again in 2008/2009. Finally, I endorse Blizzard's decision to deviate from the "No Changes" policy in WoW Classic, to move towards the "#somechanges" agenda, and to attack some obvious weaknesses identified in retrospect. This includes, for example, details regarding the functionality of currencies and tokens, loot or even equipment. Unfortunately, not everything is perfect here either, but you can never please all interest groups. I personally criticize Blizzard's decision not to re-offer the highly controversial dungeon finder from the WotLK original.
